Children's Mental Health Week

Dress to Express

for Children's Mental Health Week 2021

Children’s Mental Health Week is taking place from 1 – 7 February 2021 and is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on and raise awareness for children and young people’s mental health.

This year’s theme is Dress to Express

Children are encouraged to use colour to express themselves by wearing a colourful outfit or an outfit of their choice to express themselves. Children can wear their favourite colour or choose a range of colours that express how they’re feeling. The outfits can be as wild and wacky as you like. It is a chance to EXPRESS YOURSELF!

The event will take place on Friday 5th February 2021. For children who are currently learning from home we do not want you to miss out on this exciting event. We would like you to Dress to Express and upload your photo onto Tapestry.

We can't wait to see all your amazing outfits!

Throughout the week there will also be the chance to engage in activities to support children’s wellbeing such as yoga, art, music and dance. These activities will be uploaded to Tapestry.

For more information on how you can help support your child's mental health, please read the document below which contains a wealth of lovely information, ideas and support for children's mental health.
